Hey, likely the wrong section, but it has lots to do with the evil black guns...

Looking for the DVD that magpul sells. I guess because im an igloo living canadian in Vancouver I am likely a terrorist. Thus they wont sell a copy to me.

So, anyone have a copy for sale? I am also willing to get a torrent or a burnt copy.

I got my copy direct from them a few weeks ago after ordering off thier website - while being a 'igloo living canadian in Vancouver'.

Odd.
 
really? I tried a few months ago. Very weird. Maybe one of us got a rep that didnt know what they were supposed to do.

I will try again...
 
I believe they had the DVD looked at and it was deemed export would not violate ITAR. Prior to this they were keeping it to US only sales as a precaution.
 
I spoke to Drake and Chris Costa on this --- they managed to get it unregulated by ITAR.

I drove up from Jacksonville with Chris - he is a great guy.

THEN - he blew the competition away in a Larry Vickers Class.

Did you locate the DVD?
 
i got mine off of steyr101, he said he was ordering more from brownells so maybe contact him.... I really enjoyed the dvds and learned alot, especially about proper grip and proper lubing of the carrier, before I was a broomhandle and spray can type... now that has changed.
 
ITAR rules blow. Order from Brownell's, it'll be at your door in 10 days. Its under the $100 limit, so the US can rest easy that all who have watched the dreaded MagPul DVD won't turn into enemies of the state.

The US needs to really give their head a shake with there laws and the exceptions they have in place.
 
The $100 rule is not a guarantee it escapes ITAR

Magpul lobbied ICE to allow this out to Canada, its not like it just is allowed to go -- Training can be found on the ITAR USML Short List under Code IX
They pointed out it was NOT military training and lobbied hard to get it allowed.
ICE relented in that case -- however you will notice they have not relented in allowing trainers down here going north to train (outside MIL/LE TAA's) and the same for Cdn's coming South.
