Hey all,

I'm looking at prices for WOLF .45 FMJ reloads....

anyone have experience with wolf or maybe even there .45 reloads?

Thanks

.45 - good.

9mm - junk.

WSS here had some 9mm Wolf reloads. Every single round jammed my 229 (100 rounds). Every second round jammed in my buddies G-17.

I think at the time I only paid $7-8 box/50 for them and they all went bang, but I sure got my FTF practice that day.

hmm, still sounds hit or miss,

The 230 gr FMJ .45 i want are going to feed a Kimber custom 2... anyone shoot Wolf ammo though the same gun?

9mm junk? I don't think so. Perhaps things have changed since whenever you tried them but I've had zero issues of any kind.

Used in my Norinco 226 clone, a friends Glock, a fellow CGN' members CZ and my Sig 226 elite in IPSC with no failures of any kind.

Jamming is more likey to be a mag issue or ditry gun then an ammo issue...

iv shot a 3-4 thousand wolf 9mm with no problems at all. shot maybe 1000 .45 lead with only two issues. one reload was a .45gap , and the other had the primmer pressed in sideways

Good price good ammo. BUY SOME AND TRY IT

x2.
My CZ ate them up.

Had 1000 rounds a few years back 45 ACP 230 grain jacket. The primers fell out of 2 rounds while in the magazines. Strange but true. The other 998 worked fine.

Wolf reloads

Hi,
I'm shooting Wolf reloads for 5 - 6 years in .45, 40 and 9mil with no problems.
Usually he is the official ammo provider at many major IPSC matches in Ontario and @ Quebec Provincials...

That's fine, I can only relate my relevant experience with the brand and that's all.

The stuff I had in 9mm wouldn't feed in 2 guns. My buddy who was shooting the Glock said to me that he has never seen anything even remotely close to this and neither had I.

I'm not joking when every single round jammed my 229.

To be fair, however, the bullets WERE NOT bought directly from wolf, but rather WSS.

Has he ever sold to WWS?
Very few stores out west carry his stuff.
I have been shooting the stuff for more than 15 years and never a problem that was not addressed by him. Give the stuff a try, you will like it.
