Burris warranty work ?

I don't know about now, but a couple of years ago I had to send it to the US. Beware that they ship it back via UPS therefore I got dinged border fees even though it was warranty work.

The warranty center is in Colorado.I would love to get one but that's what is stoping me. If I knew for a fact that it wouldn't get stuck at the boarder I would get one. The only thing I can think of is that if you buy one from a dealer and let them send it away for the repairs. But I don't know if that would make any difference, I mean they probobly get all there scope from the U.S. ?

P of Dent, are you sure about that? I contacted Burris by email to ask them that question and they told me I would have to send it to the Colorado warranty center? Mabe the person I was speaking to didn't know what they where talking about.

Ok I just email Burris again and pasted the above address, and asked if this was the warranty center in Canada for there scopes. Let's see what happens

Well Gang, fear not. Contact Burris by their toll free number and have them advise you on what to do first. But I sent one in last fall for repair, the tech on the phone told me the border issue was taken care of.

Sure enough I got the scope back in three weeks. They put it in a new scope sock, a new box and all the original paperwork. I could easily have sold it as NIB the scope was in such good condition.

Yes I am sure as I have sent back a few Burris products over the years. You still have the option of dealing directly with Burris USA if you like but must do whatever international paper work is required. Stoegers Canada is owned by Beretta who also owns Burris so it is one big family of companies. Phil

Sent an old 2.5x7 to Colorado for repair last July. They advised me that it was not repairable due to it's age and then sent me a brochure with all there scopes and a price list (US Dollars) so I could purchase a new scope at a reduced cost. Purchased a 3-12x50 Euro Diamond Ballistic Plex for about $175.00 shipped to my door, no paper work on my part. Took about 3 weeks and I was very pleased with there service.

Wow, that is a really good price (seems like they are worth about $600USD new ?).

Anything new on this?

Send Burris scope for warranty repair to Colorado or Ontario and it makes no difference?

I have one I have to send in. Its my FFII from the "Wandering M14" thread. Its doing the same thing on my shotgun with slugs. After zeroing, next trip to the range and its shooting waaaaaay left.

I had to send my Black Diamond back for a side focus issue and when I contacted Burris they told me to send it to Colorado, got it back last week and no paper work (same as last time).
