Yes the slide stop should have been small and worthless,but I have a Colt Com that is 5 digit ser# and made in 1917 and the PONY is in the rear,whats up with that?

Well Bob, the correct slide stop should have been 'small' but they are far from "worthless". Try and find one these days & if you do that isn't made from "unobtainium"....
