Interior BC? that is kind of a large area...don't you think.

Meets? What are you referring to?

CAS, IPSC, IDPA, Service Rifle, 3-Gun, coffee?

Since you are living in secret location and you have not indicated what your interests are it is hard to say.

Regards,
John

well the interior to me is like williams lake and stuff is it not ??

now if he said the kootneys, is that not over by kamloops/kelowna.... , and if he said west coast would that have meant like the real west coast or more then likely vancouver, powell river and such which are not truley the westcoast....

to me the west coast means victoria, sooke, port renfrew, jordan river, ucluelet, tofino, winter harbour..... hell even port hardy is located on the east coast (of vancouver island)

Hey there Wes,
How's the weather in Ft.St. John?

We have a Southern Interior running up to around Kamloops or so, a Central Interior up to around PG or so and then the Northern Interior. At least that has always been how I think of our province.

I have lived in all three of those regions and now I live in Kitimat which is more of less on the North Coast. We are on the end of a long channel and so we ?enjoy? a crazy combination of coastal and interior weather.

regards,

John

Yes, Williams Lake is generally known as the heart of the Central Interior. Prince George - while in actuality located almost dead-centre of the province - is the start of the Northern Interior.

Kamloops is Southern Interior while Kelowna & Penticton are in the Okanagan.

The Kootenays are in the South-East and South-Central portions and contain Cranbrook , Castlegar and Nelson.

The term "The Interior" actually means everything that is not on the Islands or on the coast and in lower mainland parlance means everything North and East of Hope.

Sounds about right to me:)

Anyway you look at it, it is a BIG area!

Welcome! I'm from the "interior" of BC as well! The "Shuswap" area of the interior to be more precise.

ok ok guys, fair enough ill narrow it down to the shuswap too LoL!

Im actually just getting into shooting, had my licsene for a few years now, just never got a gun to go shoot. So I know of a gun range to go hit up, but it is still snowed in im pretty sure. So starting in the real spring i hope to have some guns to put some rounds through.
