Rem 40x RF ,MacM A5 stock, Jackson trigger, Leupold 24x. I'll be shooting this weekend - can hardly wait !! Many thanks to 2bad4u2,Ian Robertson, Richard Near(Near Mfg) and Jimmy Hatter for letting me buy his rifle 20yrs ago. Cheers

My new find Winchester 62A MFG 1947

Am very happy about this one :D . It is a very good shooter, is in quite good condition for its age, and easy to handle. It also made me realized that I prefer by far oldies like this one than any new made gun. They have a past and a history. If only they could talk !!

You have discerning taste Pre-1898. I can't see how anyone can't like the older classic rifles like that. They invoke the same nostalgia as the older Stearman and Bucker biplanes. Cheers

Got to playing around with this 10/22, I wanted to see what I could get out of it with straight elbow grease, no aftermarket parts, just polishing and tuning what was there. Then I had to justify all the money I spent on spokeshaves at Lee Valley. It's a standard stock with too much time put into it. Nice and light and points really quickly now.

I don't really like sporting rifles, but that's a nice stock. I love the look of a straight comb grip. Classic.
