I currently have a tasco varminter / target scope that i am having a problem with which is when i turn wind age knob right it goes left and when i go left it goes right and up and down is the same idea.

now all of the other scopes i have are Bushnell's and they are not like this , is this a tasco thing or was the scope put together wrong in the factory or is this something i have to live with.

turn them the other way then :ninja:

Maybe your scope is not on right, one knob should be on top and one should be on the right of the rifle, and if thats how it is than your scope is messed up.

I believe you have your scope mounted flipped over 90 degrees...The knobs should be on the top and right side, and I have seen this exact problem before when it was mounted top and left.

i am stupid but i am not that stupid to mount a scope back ass backwards i am aware people have done and have seen it done more then i care to know just need to know if anyone has herd of or had this problem occur i know the scope is not mounted 90 degrees

I have the exact same problem. I have the same scope. It's accurate as anything else I've used but the controls are ass backwards. Weird!!!

That's how its supposed to work. When you need to pull your group to the right, you spin the R dial, and the crosshairs move left. This looks goofy, and makes a guy think the group will move left. But in reality, the rifle now has to point further right for the crosshairs to be centered on target.:)

I've got the same headache, scopes from different brands (mounted right) not doing the same things.
As previously mentioned just remember to turn them the other way.

some Europian scopes dial backward to what we're used to here in North America... if that's the way your's ajusts learn to like it or get rid of it..
