I think I might get one for my T97
 
Just got it today, looks like a good and sturdy little unit. The laser/illumination switch is pretty cool with the option of having the laser and the illumination on at the same time or just the laser or just the illumination and its five different brightness settings. I have been pushing both ways on the lens caps and have not felt any movement what so ever, so I would think that they rectified the problem form the earlier units, unless they do wear out over time.

As for the Glass, I was supremely impressed with the clarity when looking through the scope at any power, its way better than the 6-24x50 Mk III I have that gets a little fuzzy in the higher power range. The only thing I didn't like was that changing the magnification power the dial is very stiff but I'm sure it will work in with time.

Generally I would rate this scope very high but I still need to get my T97 so I can do some real testing and see how well it holds zero, guess I'll be waiting a bit for that tho.

How's the blue illuminated reticle? I was thinking about buying the same scope but i was concerned about the color... and secondly could you take a pic of the scope? I just want to get a better idea of its overall size, thanks
 
The blue reticle is really bright, I like it better than the green in the other models I have seen.

I just left the house today and am in Toronto until Friday I'll get you some pics when I get home.
 
My total was $271.29 but that was with a $25 rear handguard for one of my Garands, so the total for the scope alone was probably around $240.

Now for the pics I didn't get home before dark tonight so I'll try the through the scope shots tomorrow, please bear with me here as I am on dial up and it takes forever to upload pics.

It doesn't work at all, essentially you can only see through the scope if your head is directly over the ejection port.

It wont be staying on the 858 I just put it on to give you guys an idea of the size of the scope while on a gun, and the 858 is the only one in the locker right now with an open mount or rail (I only use the open sights on that gun anyways).
 
You can have your cake and eat it to. I got the other version of 3-9 on my CZ 858. Check it out;
