New to this site and am just feeling my way around. Hope this is the correct forum. Where in Canada can someone buy nice grips for 1911s. Not just plain double diamond wood, but nice fake ivory and such. Thanks for your thoughts.

In Canada choices are somewhat limited. When I go to gun stores all I see are double diamon, hogues, or pachmyars.

I'd order from the US. ALot of selection and the prices aren't bad.

I just put a set of Ajax walnut double diamond grip's on my Norc Gov't, they are very nice, I picked these up at Proline Shooters here in Calgary, they usually have a good selection.

I looked at a very nice pair of 50 year old Ivory carved grips with dragons at the Gun show in Chilliwack. For a mere $650 dollars.

Italian sporting goods has an interesting pacymer grip with wood panels connected with a front rubber finger groove portion for the 1911.
