Well i have been waiting forever for the gun to show up and finally its here!!!

My Savage 16fcss 7mm-08 with a Burris Fullfield II ballistic plex and Talley Lightweights!!! just wanna say thanks to Bartell for the scope and rings awsome service!!!

haha ya i got it for 589 plus tax!!! and i tried a friends 708 and loved the gun so i had to get one for myself!! the recoil is so light just awsome!!!

I bet that thing will be a tack driver specialy if you fool around with some reloading. I have almost the same set up in a 300 wsm same optics, it shoots very well and am very happy with it. Have a few of those FF IIs now with B-plex, and I like them as well.

This is one cartridge I never owned but always said I would, should be a pleasent shooting rifle.

Federal makes about four different loads and Remington makes about three or four as well. Reloading is still the best option though

Bought the same gun in 30-06 last year. 7mm-08 was my first choice until I couldn't find much ammo around. If it's like mine it will be a tack driver. My buddies are all jealous.

I bought it at wholesale sports the gun that is!! And there service wasnt to pleasing took a month to get the gun to come from another store!! but id recomend having a talk with Todbartell on here just pm him he has commented on this post!! see if he can hook you up with anything hes a good guy thats who i bought my scope and rings from and he is awsome to deal with!! Cabelas also has the same model but the prices are after goin up from 589 to something like in the 830 range!!!

Nice set up! I like how the scope is mounted low, always a plus!

Grab is set of BC flip up caps for that scope and a decent sling and you're GTG.
