I hate to see people at the range who shoot brand new factory ammo and then dump the brass in the garbage... it pains me to think that its going to a landfill and going to be buried forever and never used again... especially when its getting harder and harder to get this stuff...

I am looking to setup a brass recycling service which will give the non reloader a bit of cash to spend on more ammo and allow the reloader to buy cleaned sorted good used brass.

I am willing to work two ways... collect all your good use able brass put it in a 5 gallon bucket and send it to me... this will be purchased by weight...

Or

Collect up same head stamp factory 1x fired and this will be purchased by the piece.

When I say good usable brass I am not paying for 22lr, berdan primer or steel brass. It must be reloadable.

At most, if not all Club, the brass goes on the garbage can or a bucket and is recycled and sold to fund the Club activities. Reloading range brass is not very safe...when I leave brass behind it, is because it was reloaded too many time and it is unsafe for further reload. I am sure nobody want to reload my 9 mm major brass...

I try and pick up as much as I can and use what I need an the rest goes up forsale... I am working on trying to get some new stuff in but its to expensive and to hard to get it right now...

I am dragging the club I belong to into recycling. They have been letting members take what they want and throwing out the rest. Last year I started collecting and recycling with a few members tossing in their stash no doubt a lot of it from the same place I am getting it. Nobody really paid much attention till I brought in $500 in cash- they pay a little more attention now...:)
