Hey guys, I'm making this thread for anybody interested in getting low rings for the Falcon Menace 4.5-18x56IR
I just got my XTR lows sent to me and I took some pictures to give you an idea how low the scope sits.

If I was keeping this scope, I'd run these rings without hesitation, but since I just a different scope I'm going to run that with the XTR lows.

The setup is a Savage 10FP with a EGW 20 MOA base.

Here are the pics in case anybody wants to have their Falcon Menace sit lower and rather then the medium rings.

Hope this helps.

If you do that with a Remington heavy barrel like the LTR, the scope caps will contact the barrel. At least they do with TPS lows.

Your scope base looks like it sits a bit higher than most of the tactial bases as well. Again, based on the TPS and EGW with our specs.

Well these pictures were mainly taken for the Savage 10FP folk. My base is a EGW 20 MOA base so it is the same as every other EGW 20 MOA base.

Just gives you an idea how close it is to the barrel but anything under 56mm would be fine.

The EGW bases we sell are machined to our specs (lower than the standard EGW base from EGW or off Ebay).

Not trying to say you are wrong, just making sure people know the difference.

Our EGW base, which can be identified by the AGW engraved on the bottom, would be lower than normal and would not work with low rings and a 56mm objective.
