so after about 70 rounds the little piece inside the slide under the firing pin fell out... thankfully i noticed it before it got lodged in the barrel......
pistol seems to be functioning fine without it though, i might just keep it that way

other issues
the barrel bushing is very hard to take out.... first time i had to pry it open, sanded it down a little so its a bit better

major fail to feed, first round of every mag gets jammed but if i jiggle the slide a bit the barrel drops down and loads just fine


other than that fun little pistol, makes one 8-round hole at 10 yards

For $99, expect a dispoasble gun. Not a bad thing but I wouldn't depend my life on it and I wouldn't expect to will it to anyone.

One the other hand. Put up a target and have at 'er! =)

Don't start by removing the barrel bushing. Start by removing the slide stop. It makes it easier to disassemble the pistol. Check out the following link for disassembly instructions:

The Norcarev is a proven, durable design made from good steel. Defects happen, but I would expect it to digest 10,000 rounds without breakage.

I expect Mr. CanAmmo has taken a few apart to fill his parts bin. Or it sounds like a warrenty claim.

Sorry, I was thinking you were new to Toks. Most sites tell you to disassemble starting with the barrel bushing.

Yep, owning a 1911 that's the same logic I was applying, but that isn't the case. It is indeed much easier to start with the slide stop, than to try to take the bushing out first. It is for me anyways.

I bought mine in 1992 for $89. Over 55,000 rounds later, no problems with it whatsoever. Always went BANG when I pulled the trigger. It was my most accurate and reliable handgun.
You might get really surprised with what you get in a $99 pistol.

No, they have not. I've e-mailed them about a broken grip and they said they didn't have any spare around. They are supposed to send me a replacement as soon/if a pistol with a major problem is returned to them.

We have a few for parts, but their grips are gone. The bakelite seems to crack easily.

No problem, just wanted to let folks know we do have some parts if needed. Frankly, other than the grips and people losing parts when they take them apart, the guns seem to hold up fine.

I am going to try and locate from Tokegypt type grips as an "upgrade"

still waiting for my i ordered on the 4th of march and another i ordered on march 20. called canada ammo several times and was told cfo was holding them up but just got through now and one transfer got them on march 30 and the other hasnt made it yet. still really backed up I guess

Haven't gotten mine out to the range yet, but pleasantly surprised so far. Definitely some rough edges, but had no problems with disassembly - took about 30 seconds flat. It was a bit of a beotch getting the barrel bushing back on, but that was just me having a blonde moment

I was having similar problems as Denich with feeding the first round. But I found it works fine if you give the slide a good pull and let it slam closed.

I'm completely expecting the grips to fall apart in my hands when I take the first shot though. We'll see how she goes.

My complaints about my M213:
One of the mags does not drop out...has to be pried/pulled out everytime.
The barrel bushing is a really tight fit.
The ejector pin and ejector popped out after shooting about 25 rounds and now I have beaucoup ejection issues.

I anticipated a few issues with it however, and it is all fixable...
