For those folks who may have been curious as I was - that particular product page is open for viewers now. You may or not may have initial trouble opening that as Benelli's URL could also point to the Apache (Web Host) page instead.

Space age design and no doubt superior Benelli quality and fast forward thinking.....personal impression though - not too keen on the modular concept of that semi as far as a hunting firearm is concerned :)

I'm sure there are plenty of absent minded folks who may leave a component behind at home or elsewhere in their rush to get to the field :D :D

I will be buying one. I love the look of the vinci! I have been anticipating the release day for a few weeks now! I cannot wait! sign me up!!!

and the mrsp on the sight is $1349 but I think its in american $$$.

No recoil spring in stock seems like an improvement. Was dissappointed about the maxus not having this. I guess they heard enough about 3.5" kicking the crap out of everyone in the SBE. Otherwise, it's ugly like everyone else said.

The overall profile and design while unorthodox appear to be practical if the primary role of that semi is visualized as a waterfowling model. Max 3inch chamber length is just fine too, IMHO.

The segregation of components is a feature that may or may not appeal to the individual customer but then Benelli production quality has always been excellent.

Ugly is still ugly. Or is practical the new ugly? :yingyang:

+1 on ugly. With all the BS hype surrounding this gun you'd think John Browning had arisen from the grave to design it.

Not debating the ugly aspect - matter of individual opinion(s) but then I had always only considered breech loading shotguns as truly beautiful :D.

All other categories of shotguns, well, those are simply just firearms with a barrel mated to something/anything - no offence folks. :D :D
