I posted this in the Dealer area but wanted to ask here if anyone has seen these at retail in Canada? Or US suppliers for that matter...

Hi All,
I am looking for one of the new Caldwell Shootin’ Gallery targets. Made a couple local inquiries (Wholesale, P&D) with no luck. My impression is they don't have them and seem unwilling or unable to special order them. Does anyone have these or is expecting these soon? Western Canada preferred...

They are pretty cool. Moving targets, knockdown and auto reset. There is a campy vid showing it in action on the link below (replace ### with ###)...

Hmmm. Tempting....very tempting. Don't think I could build one much cheaper unless labor was free. Only thing really holding me back is the fear it might end up being a novelty for a bit, and then the inevitable maintenance will make it more annoying than fun.

Haven't been to Lloyd in a while though...

You know what, I bet someone could make one for cheaper.

Wouldn't be hard to do. Biggest thing would be finding a track. Although I'm pretty sure you could rig some kind of bike chain to do it. Tiny electrical motors are easy (and free) to come by.

Just use an old BBQ rotisery. One of the clubs that I've shot 3D achery at has one for the kids (of all ages) to shoot at during lunch break. It universally known as the "rabbit rotisery" you can guess what the targets look like ;)
Cheers,
Grant

My friend has tools for this kind of stuff(to a point anyways) so labour would be free as he'd be using it as much as me.
