I went shooting today

I took my .22 out to try out my new rest. The rest works fine, but the table needs a little work to get it where I would like it to be. Before anyone spazzes out, the 'road' I'm shooting down isn't a road, but it is a field road used mainly for moving machinery etc and it is very long so in the off chance something was to come down it, I would see it well before it was in the effective range of a anything smaller than a tank round.

First 5 shot group I shot with some modded AE22's. They are the ones I tried the 'pen' trick on last fall.

It's just American Eagle hollow point ammo that has been opened up with a Bic pen. I haven't been able to spud a gopher with it yet, but it seems to still be fairly accurate.

It's a Sako Quad with a VXII 4-12x40AO scope.

I've got a Model 12 LPV in .223 on the way so I'll be trying some 300-500 yard shooting once I find a load it likes.

Setting up targets and a shooting bench on the road just makes sense.
