Join the club. I've been looking since the fall. If anyone has them, they're not shipping them to Canada even if you do the paper work. I've made numerous calls to anyone that has them listed on their website and if you even say your in Canada... they clam up.
Brownells used to ship them apparently but won't according to the phone call I made in January.
If you do find a source for a stainless one please let me know.
A couple guys here have heated and stretched out the original to make the loop bigger, with success. I know a some guys also have extra original loops laying around, maybe you could put an ad in the EE for one, and try the stretching idea instead of using your original.
I have never seen a large loop lever that I like I feel they are all to large.
My buddy in Abbotsford is an excellent welder does a lot of Dentist office work he says he can cut, reshape and weld my lever and I will never see where the cuts were...
I just need to corner him and get him to make it 1/2" longer & 3/8" - 1/2" deeper.
I like the looks or the DRC one, looks to be just big enough for my gloves while hunitng, but to big. Its just that $150+ price tag that keeps me from buying one.
well I am sure I am more than capable of "redneck" engineering one my self since Iam a welder but I would rather try it on a doner one first since if it doesnt work out I still have the original one.

LOL ya, my thought exactly. I have friends who are machinests and welders, but do not want to let their first attempts on making a larger loop to be on my loop lol. Anyone wanna sells me a loop for $20?????
I bought this one for my 444 from numrich arms and was able to get it shipped as it is under the $100 mark. The finish was so/so, and it took a little grinding with the dremel to get the fit right, but overall I am happy with it.
