Rifle barrels

Gaillard barrels are good, but if you have preference for cut rifling give Ron Smith a try. I have one of his barrels on my .375 and it shoots like a varmint rifle. I don't appear to have his contact information handy, but someone out there does.

If you are considering a Savage or Stevens build, I can offer you prethreaded and chambered match barrels from Shilen and McGowen. These will save you quite a bit of $$ vs a gunsmith installed barrel.

Enjoy your build.
