I watched the video and thought it looked kinda neat. After seeing the pics posted, wow, that thing is nasty looking. For the price they are going to likely want for it there are many other 556 guns I would rather get.

I'm leaning towards fugly.
But if they tune up the pistol grip a lot, and trim down the porky look to the mag well area it might just work.
AR15 mags, nice.

I agree its FUGLY. Maybe the Italian designers are running out of designs? (I am a Big Beretta fan ... but that ended with the 92/96 series). The best part of this rifle is that the mags will probably fit into an M4/M16

I never thought I would say this but the new Mexican-made FX-05 (based on HK G36 system) looks a whole lot better compared to the new Beretta:

I think the earlier Italian rifle AR70/90 series still has a good design:

With the sh1tstorm & headaches Marstar & CanadaAmmo have been enduring, courtesy of the RCMP & CBSA... AND, the customer relations nightmare CanadaAmmo is wading through... I doubt VERY MUCH that there are Canadian companies thinking of bring new & innovative products to our market...

Yeah, the upper is pretty large...

Maybe because it uses a huge squarish bolt carrier group like the CX4, but scaled up so it will work with rifle rounds?

That's not at all how it works.

A select fire version of the G36 exists, for example.

Chances are the Beretta will not make a civilian version but Canada is a small market. We are lucky in that we have great black rifles available .. for now.
