here's my 92FS, i got it as a regular black 92FS and decided to customize it a bit
So far i added the walnut grips, skeleton hammer, stainless barrel
my plan is to get (eventually) all the controls in stainless

I just got this compensator (a copy of the original italian SGS), i always loved the look of the gun in the movie "The Professional" so when the opportunity came to get the same comp i couldn't pass it!

Now here's my dillemma, i had the choice to get it either in hard chrome or in black, i tough that it would look nice in hardchrome to match the barrel and the other parts
now i instaled it today and i really like it but i have doubts!
There is someone with a black one who asked me if i wanted to exchange it with him

here are the pics:
when i got it

now i think that the grips look off with that setup, i am waiting to receive some grey hogue rubber grips i got off the EE
and was thinking of buying maybe some aluminium grips wich would match the rest of the parts
some thing like this

so what do you think would you keep the hardchrome or go with the black one?

i got it off someone on the beretta forums, this guy had a few of the original italian sgs compensators that sell for stupid prices (450$us +)
and decided to have a try at machining new improved ones!
alot of research has been done to this project and the quality is amazing!

i got it on a preorder before the first batch was machined so it didn't cost me too much
but right now he's getting ready to do a second run and they are selling for 275US for the black and 325 for the hard chrome
he's actually negotiating with Brownells to distribute them for him!

As for grips, check www.gungrips.net, they have Aluminium ones (mine are aliminium) and you can leave them plane, ploshied or even have a design in them. Emagine your setup with polished aluminum grips with the Beretta logo embroided in them. That would be Sweet! Yes, I had a few drinks, so don't mind the spelling!

I think it looks good as it is, with out the compensator. She is perfectly balanced between black and stainless and the wood grips gives it a luxurious look. I would keep her as is, but since its your gun...

i was actually thinking the exact same thing!
i think the best thing would be to get another 92fs inox but i just can't afford it right now!

i guess my best option is to go with the black one!
