I'm very old school, and i dont trust the internet to purchase fire Arms, but i would like to get an Ar or an M4 big time, is there Anywhere in the General Toronto Area that sells?:(
even a couple hours away from Toronto, i dont mind traveling a bit,
any intel would help

Target Sports and Ellwood Epps are within driving distance, and both are sponsors at the top of the page - you can call and see what they have.

Williams Arms in Port Perry is also another shop that usually has a few AR's - that would be another alternative.

You would get far better selection ordering from one of the sponsors at the top of the page. They're all legit and usually very friendly. Other than that, I'd make the drive to Ellwood Epps or Target Sports (who are also both sponsors). I'm not sure if Questar has a storefront... otherwise I'd visit them also. Be sure to call first though, AR15s don't fly off the shelves here in Canada, so selection is typically limited.

AR's flying of the shelves

I don't know what this guy is talking about???? If you find a REAL AR i.e. a Colt or an Armalite, they DO fly off the shelves. But I will recommend Questar and Williams Arms. Questar because he has a bunch of cool different items usually in stock (strictly Mail Order, but he is a very SOLID guy), and Williams because he usually has good stuff in and can order almost anything. I would suggest if you are buying new to buy the Smith and Wesson ones, and stay AWAY from the imperial defense ones (made in U.K., don't even let their own people have them so why should we support). The Remington's are nice (because Remington owns bushmaster now) but the camo finishes are terrible and rub right off after a bit.

Regards.

Don't trust the internet?

any advice where i can get one?, and whats a decent price?
been shopping for a while, dont know who to trust

Does it matter. You go to buy a restricted....you give them your money...and you leave.
In a few weeks you will get a phone call to pick it up. You trust them to do that?

Actually, from what I've seen, AR's of all types really DO fly off the shelves. Given the panic Obamamania induced buying spree the Americans are on, it'll be interesting to see when more shipments make it here. Also, you'll recall the shipment of KAC rifles that Questar received, they sold out before most people knew they were available, despite the fact that they were priced according to their quality (good stuff costs good money).

Ordering online is SOOO easy...I love it...or just call the dealer and order on the phone, usually they'll send you some pics if needed. Besides that, Al Simmons in hamilton, or Ellwood Epps is your best bet.

It became illegal, this year, for any public agancy to "trade in" firearms. There won't be any more police trade in's.
