Hello all.
I am in the process of researching my holster options and have a few questions. Once I have my gear sorted I hope to attend a black badge course this summer.

According to the IPSC regs I have located, they want everything on a belt, does this include paddle style holsters / pouches?

What are the opinions on the Fobus gear? Solid?

Any holster gotchas I am not thinking of.

The pistol in question is actually a norc NZ-85 for trivia.

I keep running across references to the Bladetech gear, it seems to be held in high regard.
Any of our dealers carry a bladetech holster that is IPSC legal, and for a CZ85?

This one includes CZ85 in its list, but I haven't sourced one in Canada yet.

Ok, looks like the bladetech DOH is ipsc legal, and available for the cz85. Anyone know if it is idpa legal as well?

The DOH is not legal for IDPA but Blade TEc offers a removable back. You simply replace the DOH back piece with one they make that brings the holster closer to the belt and higher making it IDPA legal.

Take Care

slows you "slightly" but holds nicely and (surprisingly) easy to dis-engage (but still holds firm when you want it too)..does that "clarify"..LOL
it's also a nice "multi-tasking" holster, check them out
