Few pictures of my re-blued 9mm Trojan.

Rodger Kotanko did the work - as always I'm really happy with Rodgers work.

Thank you Rodger. :dancingbanana:

While the pistol was getting refinished I asked Rodger to swap the short trigger in / fit in EGW bushing and cut the barrel flat wit the bushing (factory STI barrel protrudes past the bushing)I wasn't sure I was going to like the melt busing so I had Rodger fit in standard EGW bushing but I really liked the way it turned out. :)

Rodger also added 11 deg crown to the barrel.

I installed the same trigger in my Norinco Stinko :D

Roger does excellent job with my guns. I cant wait til he's done with the makeover of my STInger open gun he is currently working on.

Both of those are very nice pistols, the work is really first class - I love the bushing/crown. Did Roger checker your Norc? Very nice, and not easy to do given the material.

ETA: There are a lot of subtle touches that you don't notice at first, I love the way he trimmed back the end of the slide stop on the Norc and "carry bevelled" the pistol. First Class work!

Those 5100 Norc slides take a beautiful polish, don't they. I'm still noticing the little touches, absolutley superb pistols.

Here's what went into the Norinco project for anyone that is interested.
  • Kart .45 ACP Barrel
  • EGW Ignition Kit / Shot Trigger / Bushing
  • Ed Brown - Ambi/Safety / Beavertail / GI Guide and plug / Extractor
  • Wilson Hammer / Slide Stop / Mainspring housing.
  • 10-8 Rear Sight - tall (Rodger fabricated front sight)
  • Gunner / Strider Grips
Gun was stripped of norinco blue / checkered 20 LPI / Hi-Cut trigger guard / lowered flared ejection port. All markings were removed (except the serial # ;) ) Rodger then reblued everything.

I think that it.
