new dutchy

Wow am I ever glad my parents moved to Canada from Holland in 1957. There is no way I would be able to survive with only 5 guns to my name.

The very idea is shameful!

Heck my 15 year old son has more than that!

hey stormbringer, i would be happy with one gun...right now i do not own one.

i'll have to wait to get my licence in september.

hmm,5 guns wil be enough for me i think....those things have to be feed to and ammo is not really cheap:D

born canadian i think, how's your dutch?

where did u parrents came from?

alfred

a semi, is a semiauto matic, self loader, each time you fire the gun it reloads itself lol and there is a member at my gun club who has over 40 hand guns, yes we can own a lot here, if i ever win a lottery going to get me a cannon

No Dutch at all. My parents decided that we were to be Canadian by the time I was born and never taught me or my sister. My oldest brother speaks a bit.

My parents came from a small town near Asten called Heusden

ALF, I was recently in Holland as i have many relatives in Utrecht/De Meern/Isselstein, my mother was a war bride, if your ever in Canada, look me up!! One question for you, can a person hunt in Holland?? When I was there I was surprised at how many Geese were flying around and do they become a problem? Hunting them would be "LEKKER".

welcome aboard. it's always interesting to see how other countries address firearms. 5 guns!?! i currently own 5 (3 .22's, a 7mm Remington Magnum, and a 12 gauge shotgun) since i just sold 2. i have nowhere near enough just for basic shooting. i need at least 4 more to meet my needs, and countless more to meet my wants. :D

Hey Al flipo, At what age did u go to Canada? Maybe one day i want to go to Canada, but i'm 41 and maybe it's to late to do it:rolleyes:
It's never too late to improve your life..;)
I left Holland right after I finished my compulsory tour with the Royal Dutch Army, at the age of 21 I believe, one of the best things I have ever done in my life.

Hi Ben,

I don't know about the geese, but i think they hunt them down if there are to many:sniper:

But not the normal people may hunt, for that u need a licence.
