What is the rules/logistics of a uspsa member shooting IPSC in Canada?
i don't need info on the government requirements.
IPSC Canada requires a Black Badge requirement where as USPSA does not.

Not to mention that it is easier to get a slot to the US Nationals which is probably the best match in the world.

as long as you are an active member of any IPSC region, then you can shoot to any sanction IPSC match.

So then what are the top 5 must got to matches in the next 12 months then?

Why?

The next IPSC World Tournament isn't until 2011 in Greece. It is the premier event for IPSC shooters worldwide. I understand there are a number of lessor shoots scheduled in the US over the next 12 months, one of which might be the US Nationals.

Why?

Skill development? Setting goals? Great ranges to experience? Travel, Promotion of Shooting Tourism, awesome stage design, learning, etc...

There are legitimate "fun shoots" as well as competitions I am sure CGN members could learn a ton from.

So, what are the top 5 shooting events or competitions you would attend?

European Championships, Equador and South Africa will be ones not to miss if at all possible of which we will see only one:(

Equador??? have fun getting ammo there.
USPSA is a the same animal as IPSC just a different breed. Some prefer it some don't, but the USPSA Nats is one of the premier matches in north america.

Another different but similar animal would be the Bianchi Cup or NRA Action Pistol.
A good candidate for the top 5.
