Now I just have to tweak this load and move on to the 175 SMK's.

I have no doubt. they were all punching down the same hole then i would screw up and open it up to still sub .5moa. just need some more trigger time and a calmer day the wind was gusting the whole time i was out.

That I'll agree with... I've looked through my buddy's NightForce 5.5-22x50 and, set it to 16 power to match my max power and have this to say: the NF has better eye relief and a finer reticule, although the latter is 2nd focal plane on his whereas mine is 1st, so not really an apples to apples comparison. BUT, when it comes to brightness of image, the S&B was noticeably better, not DRAMATICALLY, but you could distinguish easily between the two. In my very humble opinion, NF's cater more to the target shooter that knows what he's aiming at and has time to dial in X amount of turns of elevation with those target turrets. In contrast, the S&B's are really meant to pick out obscure/hard to distinguish objects (game at low light, enemies in cammo, etc.) and have turrets that do the whole elevation in two turns max to react quickly. It therefore comes as no surprize that Accuracy International chose it to be their "official" scope.

Take this with a grain of salt because, although I use an NF almost every time I shoot, I own an S&B :D::p
