700,DM to BDL?

I just picked up a 700BDL DM,and having no use for clips I want to convert it to a floorplate bottom metal.What's involved in doing so,will I have to restock? Thanks Mur

Can't be done. There are no feedrails on the DM action, they are on the mag instead...If you try to change to a floorplate, there won't be anything to hold the shells in your magazine...

Best to live with it or trade it for a BDL rifle...

What cal. is it??

I could see that with a blind-mag (ADL)style, but how would that work with a hinged floorplate??

You would need a bdl plate to check, probably doable.
