Interesting...I wonder what else they've changed? Also what are the ramps like where they hit the upper receiver? Like is there a lip there or is the receiver cut down to fit the ramps?
Let me think...still a 1:9 barrel I assume.
What is the front sight base? F stamp or no?
What is the staking like?
Mil-spec or commercial buffer tube?
That's really interesting...makes me think they must have improved a bit since I first heard about them.
If you don't want to spend $1500+ on North America made AR, then go with the Norinco M4, feel the same, looks the same, but the finish is not as good as the US ones. Look on the bright side, a quick paint job will fix that, I saw one repaint in 1 of the vancouver dealer, it looks as good as the Colt AR after the paint job.
Yes, 1:9 barrel. Staking? not exactly sure what you mean in reference to the AR, but the Castle nut is staked, and the gas key is properly staked. The trigger has a nice consistent pull. I have a tactical version so no F stamped base, and it has a commercial buffer tube. The M4 Feedramps are done properly.
