Sako 75 stock weight

Can anyone tell me how much a Sako 75 Hunter model wood stock weighs? I've located one but I see that the bare rifle (no scope/sling) weighs almost 8lbs. So I'm wondering if swapping out the wood for a synthetic stock (McMillan) would shave much of that weight?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Won't be much different, especially if it's bedded!

Is the edge straight comb, or can they do the 75 cast of on an edge stock? Do you have a picture you can post?

Its an exact copy of the 75 stock...they can do EDGE fill in any of their stocks, except ruger...
