M14 stocks Where?

I ordered my Boyds Pepper Laminate from DMFirearms.com $110 US plus shipping. IIRC $148 US total, and yes, they shipped it to Canada.

Cheers

DM no longer ships gun related items out of the US.

"We are NO LONGER shipping any gun related items outside of the United States of America. We apologize about any inconvenience this may cause."

Did your M14 fit in it nicely or did you have to undergo some elaborate fitting?

I pluged and played with mine. All that I needed to do was add the metal stuff from my nork and away I went.

I picked up a beautiful USGI Walnut stock with all the metal hardware for $125 weekend before last at a local gun show. Guys name was Steve, I'll PM you his email address he had a bunch for sale.

"Some" fitting... I had to fit the laminated top handguard, re-install the front sling swivel & metal buttpad, but, other than that, the barreled action dropped right in and I bedded it with JB Weld!

Satain's was a standad walnut, requireing the stock liner , sling loop and stock ferrule to be installed.
other than that it was good to go as a dop in fit.
However.....
I epoxy bedded his stock liner , milled out channels for NM bedding and did a basic epoxy bedding application using a barrel "bedding fixture" to set the desired stock/barrel tension of 40ft lbs or there abouts.

I have a type 2 nutmeg laminate and it requires extensive bedding procedures as it is milled out for a rear lugged , and forward lugged receiver and the action inlet has no bearing surfaces set, you must build them in with epoxy and the appropiate bedding devices are almost needed for this stock.
If you have neve bedded a stock before, the type 2 can be kinda intimidating :D

PM sent............

im sure that's not a pm sent about buying one of these stocks,
but rather to see if he's got the whole "I'm a stock dealer" thing aproved and why he spams people's mailbox.
That's the exact message I could see in my PM box last week, how annoying
