So, my brother and I went out scouting today, while walking through the field to where we thought they were (from all the tracks this winter) we noticed three of them right away, not even in the field for 30 seconds.
1 big tom and 2 hens just struting around at like 7:15. We watched them from about 100 yards away for 20 minutes, we had pretty good landscape cover behind a rolling hill, but at times, the tom looked right at me and didn't see anything.
After looking around the entire field slowly we sat at the field edge a shot the #### for about 1 hour. After the sun set, I happen to notice a hen snuck up on us and got to within 50 yards. We kept quite, we weren't fully camoed or anything, but this hen walked in a semi-circle around us for about 20 minutes just before dark.
Needless to say, we are both pumped about turkey season.

The Ontario season opens next Monday and I was already chomping at the bit to get out there.
