M&P 40 in production without mag disconect

Does anybody know if you can use a m&P 40 in production in ipsc with the mag disconnect disabled

William since you shoot both IPSC and IDPA you should know you cannot disable the mag disconnect and use the gun in IDPA. I contacted S&W sometime ago and they advised me that NO M&P's were exported to Canada without the mag disconnect that did not have the warning on the slide.

FYI removing the mag disconnect, unlike the FN HI-Power, has no effect on the trigger pull.

down loaded 40's give you a "soft" shooting gun and a just on the line hit with a 9 would catch the scoring line with a 40, that works for the good and the bad shots.

Tried down loading my wifes M&P 40 two years ago
It didnt like that
At 147 PF it started to have feed issues after the second or third mag

ps
Left it at just over 170 PF
Never tried any other weak loads

Dragoon gave me this load for downloading the .40cal. 2.8 gr of Titegroup under 180 gr lead bullets gives me 130ish PF out of my Tanfoglio. Very soft shooting. You may need a lighter recoil spring in the S&W M&P if you have cycling problems.
