Anyone Ordered from midway usa?

IIRC, I beleive they have stopped shipping otuside of the US because of an unfortunate incident with customs.

I could be mistaken though
check with brownells

IIRC, I believe they have stopped shipping outside of the US because of an unfortunate incident with customs.

It wasn't customs, it was the State Department. The same people who issue the export permits for firearms, parts and ammo.

Midway USA was caught exporting scopes without export permits. The 250 scopes they exported without permits cost them over $300k in fines PLUS legal fees. (and I am certain there would have been searches of their files, premises, and other intrusive unpleasantries)

Once bitten.......

Recently bought a RCBS Lock Out die from MidSouth. No surprises. I had em ship via USPS upon the sage advice of others on this forum and though it took awhile (10 days) there was no duty or other BS to pay. Item listed at $US 48.00 was $US 67.00 FOB my pinkies.

Just got my midway order... never had them not ship me anything... then again, my situation is different...:D and no, I will not elaborate on this site.

When you talk to Midway USA it turns out that they have a Canadian contact.

I didn't keep the info they gave me, but it's of some guy that lives out west with a Last name of McMurder (Don maybe?). I only remeber because I got a kick out of the last name.

Apparantly you find everything you want and call this guy.

I bought some reloading dies and and stuff when I was last down there. (I'm dual citizen too), and they shipped quickly and never had a problem with the orders. Their website has a tendency to be a bit screwy sometimes.

The dumb $hits at Midway wouldn't send a Green mt custom barrel for BP Renegade .54 even through a Alberta gunsmith that had all the papers for importing barrels as the STATE DEPT put a freeze on the order cause it was over .50 caliber! They are great for taking out aircraft............idiots! I was so pissed I decided I was getting the barrel if I had to walk down and get it.Never seen a gunpart I couldn't get yet.It shoots round ball real nice with it's 1-70 twist......Harold

Other than Midway not dealing with Canadians now due to DoD issues, I will attest that Midway USA is a great company to deal with. In the early 90's when we didn't have all these import/export laws I lived on a border community and spent most of my disposable income on cheap reloading components. I still have some .223 Win 55gr FMJ's bulk packs left over for $39 per 1000 for .223 bullets. How's that for a price! Although its been years since dealing with them they are a one of the better companies in the US to deal with when you are into firearms and parts.

Midway Canadian Dealer

I got this from Midway when I asked the question, who are your dealers in Canada. I haven't used it yet, if anyone does let us know how it went.
