Wicked Grips....

holy ####!!!! what the hell? This guy is a sponser and I'm promoting his site on my youtube page...

seriously what's he thinking posting a pic like that? maybe he got hacked?

Going to email him now, but I really don't want people to think that having kids dressed up like nazi muffins is something I support...

The little nazi kid is gone now.

What do these grips sell for?

I could definitely do an equivelent set.....hell, this could be a good side business :)

Compared to the 17th century reproduction furniture I'm doing now, a set of slab grips would be a piece of cake :)

Eds grips from Wicked grips go for $160-200 US per pair. Custom ones are alot higher. Shipping was $20 for both- factor in some exchange and Theres no change from $500 for 2 sets.

On eBay hardwood grips go for as little as $30 up to about $300. If I had any wood working skills, I'd make some of these. You can get "blanks" on Gunbroker for about $10/set and then do what you want with them.

Very cool, thanks for the info :)

Thing is, in my shop I deal with some extremely funky wood....and I can't just toss out my scraps when some runs over $100.00/foot. This might be a good use for some of them.
(speaking of funky wood, I'm doing a project with some 50,000 year old kauri right now :) )

Anybody have an old set of factory grips they want to part with so I can cut some templates?
