Bolt actions with 10 round magazine capabilities

I held it.

It feels mighty nice.

The stock on both of them leaves something to be desired...

The M4 style stock is a bit loose, and the target stock's cheek piece is a bit flimsy feeling.

Gun salesmen said it was putting bullets through the last ones hole with match ammo, 1/2 MOA.

Those are the paces I have put it through. I might be able to give you more information in the future though hehe :)

I know I may be beating a dead horse, but as a person who started out with a lower budget and went through the growing pains (wasting/loosing money)on different rifles, I hate to see people buy something because their budget dictated the largest part of their decision. Take it for what it's worth, but save for a little while and buy what you really want, not what fits into the budget now when it will only make you happy for a short while.

Now there is some good advice. I want this thing to make me happy for the rest of my life :)

DAMN YOU!! Those things are NEVER around when I'm looking for them :( You have an accuracy report?

Have not been to the range with it yet. Been a pain to track down the rear sight. Thinking I'll just install a scope right now till I get the rear sight. ;)

Save up and get what you really want then. It's the only way. If you compromise and buy what you consider second rate you will never be happy with it, loose money trying to sell it and wondered why you ever bothered with it.

I take it from the sounds of that, you have experienced this?

Thanks for the advice lejarretnoir, I am thinking I am going to take it :)

I have a Steyr Pro Hunter with a 10 rd. magazine kit added.
Heavier barrel than the scout and much cheaper. Mine is the 20" mountain barrel and was able to shoot 3 rd., 1/2 moa at 200yds with remington 180 gr hunting ammo. (I only accomplished this once) but it shows the potential accuracy of this rifle.
These pro hunters are available with heavy barrels too which should increase accuracy a lot.
They are a bit expensive but come from the factory with a picatinny rail, large bolt knob, 10rd magazine. There's little after-market stuff you need to add. Especially with the steryr elite, but it's much more expensive.
