I think anything that gun owners do that is STUPID, RECKLESS, UNSAFE, and potentially LETHAL to the operator, cameraman and bystanders, you should definitely continue to do them in the comfort and privacy of your back yard (like this guy) or on crown land miles away from another person so when you kill yourself and/or the people around you no one will be around to be injured and your firearms death will be labelled nothing more than careless firearms handling and your estate will have to deal with the fallout of a lawsuit because your buddy was seriously injured. You won't care you'll be dead. Firearms were never designed to fire full auto from your belt loop.
Whenever I see a bumpfire video on Youtube (there are hundreds of them) I see the Wheel of Darwin spinning. Too bad you'll never see a video of "bumpfire gone bad" because Youtube doesn't allow videos of people getting their head blown off.
As I have said here before, do whatever you want with your guns, including testing the limit of their safe use and operation. If you want to ignore your safety, it's your life. Just don't do anything that will negatively affect mine or anyone else's already meager rights to own, possess, or use our firearms. If your intent is to deliberately make it more difficult for me to possess firearms in the future because you want to bumpfire, three cheers for Darwin.
