Took the No4 out that I got from Beater and it shot pretty good. I had to switch out the front sight for a taller one, after that it shot under two inches at 80 yards with the battle sights and my old eyeballs.....
The Remington 180 Core-Lokt bullets grouped the best out of the stuff I shot today. To top it off I seen a nice doe on the way back from the range, all in all it made for a good day shooting.
I took some cast bullets that were too long that wouldn't feed out of the mag and cut the tips off. I was surprised to find out that they were more accurate than the whole bullet. The holes looked nicely cut like wad cutters do on paper. I also loaded up some Norma 180 grain in .308 diameter adn blasted them at 80 yards, no keyholing and the shot to point of aim. I am going to be shooting more of them for sure.
