Maybe getting one tomorrow. Question is.....Where does the M-14 throw empty casings? I am a lefty and really don't want an empty in the forehead. Any advise.......

yeah and if you're shooting outdoors (and you probably will), chances are your spent casing will fall in a pile of old fallen leaves and you look for them for half an hour!

I also shoot left handed, no problem with that, buy on!

Exactly what happens. Even if you have your wife and brother "watching" for them.

My brass actually flings only about 4 feet to the right, and all fall within about a 3 foot radius.

My M1 Garand on the other hand, flings anywhere from 1 o clock to 3 o clock, and shoot that about 15 feet.

"...never been hit by brass from my M305..." Nor a real semi'd M14, C1A1, M1 Rifle, M1 Carbine, assorted SMG's and MG's or anything else. Well, except for the M1 clip that went straight up and straight back down onto my hat. Ejection out of any of 'em is nothing to worry about.
