Adding prohibited to your RPAL?

STFU and deactivate it. Even if you surrender it to police you could still be charged with unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm if they want to f**k you (and they usually do).

For the love of all that is holy, don't tell anyone about it!!!

:D

The quoted poster has made a valid point.........there's no good will in the system any more.

It used to be that the legal system was about enforcing the law & arresting real criminals..............now it's about politics.

I'm not sure what I'd do in your situation but at my age the ole noggin isn't what it used to be and the odd memory lapse:confused: occurs (Duuuuuh..........what prohibited handgun?). ;)

The holder of a 12(6) PAL can purchase grandfathered 12(6) handguns from other legal owners in his/her peer group.

A 12(6) handgun that is not currently registered is not a grandfathered 12(6) handgun and cannot be legally acquired or possessed by a private individual.

Furthermore, a 12(6) handgun that is not currently registered cannot be registered to a private individual.
