Breaking all the rules (turkey hunting)

A second tag??????

Hell, it took me HOW MANY years to fill the first one!?! :p

Of course I only hunt a few hours per year for turkeys. Once the black flies get bad, and/or the crappies start biting, I am outta there!

Nope, I had my annual fill of misery and discomfort already, don't need any more. Thirty years in the Army does that to a fellow........... ;)

LOL!! What a circle Doug, that 22-250 I got from you went back to Perth. I walked out the door of the gun show that with it in my hand and thisolder gentleman saw me putting it in my truck and chased me down to give me his # should I wish to sell it as he had the identical guns in 222 and 243 and wanted the in-between mate!! I turned it into a Browning Silver 12 MODB. Go figure eh!!! Waterfowlers and rifles just dont mix well!!

back to rlg..............I don't think I went to that one, but for sure did visit the Cornwall complex from time to time.

If you were in taskings, you might have seen my smiling face at Army HQ 92-96 or Div HQ 88-91. And you are correct, the beard and hair came after I hung up my spurs. ;)

Once I retired, I threw away my watch, my comb, and my razor. Don't need them any more. :dancingbanana:

Those "easy" ones are always welcome. Turkey hunting is an odd sport... you can hunt hard for days on end and it feels like you'll never have a chance. Then one day it happens like it did to you. Congratulations on a great "flash" hunt!
