Info on Savage 30t pump action 12ga

For Turkey season this year I thought I would try my dads savage pump action out just because it has been sitting in his gun cabinet idle. Does anyone have any info on these shotguns? I haven't been able to find much info on the internet and just any information about them would be cool. It seems like a really well made shotgun on par with my older 870. Thanks.

The model 30 was manufactured from 1958 to 1975. The model 30T, from 1963 to 1970. (Edited to add: The 30T "takedown" model was manufactured from 1970 - 1973) The 30T is the "trap" version - came with a 30" full choked barrel, a Monte Carlo stock, and a factory butt pad.

If it hasn't been modified, that's what you have.
