The price seems reasonable. What do you think?

Kimber are good

Salut Antoine
If they have it, Kimber are great 1911
I'll take one over a SIG anydays (SIG GSR are made by a sub-contractor)

What do you mean, hit the streets? I definetly want a 1911 but the Springer Trophy match cost around $2000. S&W, meh... There's nothing catching my attention yet.

Sorry it was a joke given there current situation not having a clue what they have in inventory with guns going out the back door.

i called and ask last month. non is stock and had been back ordered since last october. so good luck

I love my Kimber warrior - but as noted, you might be in for a wait. Not too many places keep stock, especially WSS!

Call TSE - they might have one around, and would likely price match.

Kimber is being really weird with there orders now.. Apparently, before you had to order a minimum number of product for the order to be filled...

Now, after asking around, it seems that Kimber wants you to almost finance them for the order and pay in full before the order has even gone into production. Its making it really hard to find Kimber guns up here in Canada.... (this is through the grapevine.. take it for whats its worth)

^X2 I called all over Canada, nobody's got them except for P&D (at that time, month ago) Thats where I got my Custom II. Everybody is back ordered, and its been months. If you can find a Kimber in stock, buy it! They are getting very scarce here... Like Merllin said Kimber is making dealers pay up front for there orders so its pissing dealers off and costing them... Dealers eventually are not guna even bother with Kimber soon because of this...

Yup, if you find one buy it. I got my Kimber Custom II from Dante's in Montreal, but it took me days of internet searches and a pile of long-distance phone calls to find one. No idea what the problem is, but a lot of dealers are not re-stocking.

today no one wants to finance other so many companies do the same, it probably does not please any dealer but if your dealer is a start up he will pass on, if he is established wont be a problem.

Not when they jerk you around like Kimber does... apparently they make it anything but easy.... (again through the grapevine, Im not a dealer, just heard stories)
