Yup, different ... about 12 hours drive and 700 km further apart than Vanderhoof and Victoria ... ferry boat ride is much longer though !

i bought one a year ago. walnut stock,sps stock dies and brass for $600
metal wasn't perfect but bore and mechanics were.

700 classic is a wonderful rifle, and the caliber is also very nice.
can expect a better value than the other 700 bdl's

I'm not crazy about Remington's, but 6.5x55 is a sweet cartridge. I agree with the other estimates; +/- $600 depending on condition. You buying or selling?
