#5 Rifle Front Sigth Change

OK, I screwed up and now have to install a new sight on my Jungle Carbine. I have the set of sights. Can you just tap them in with a brass punch? I don't want to screw this up so any help would be appreciated. I have the mechanical ability of a slug!

There is a pusher tool out there (maybe Riflechair has one?) but yes you can do it with a punch. Unlike a Long Branch Enfield there is no tension screw so it's just friction. You might need one of the front sight elements with the spreadable slot on the bottom.

Thanks. Richard is away right now so I will have to go with the brass punch. I plan on shooting cast bullets in the gun so I am going with the shortest sight - the -03
