A while back I traded a fellow gunnut my Mod 70 458 Lott for his Brno ZKK 602 in 416 Rigby. All my other big bores are Brno's, so I wanted to keep it consistent.
I really wanted to shoot it right away, but factory ammo is ridiculous, and I planned on reloading anyway. Everything came together this weekend, the shell holder came in (Last thing I was waiting for), so I loaded up a few test rounds and headed out to the range. I have to say, I was very surprised. After shooting the 458 Lott, which was a lot more punishing, the 416 Rigby was pleasant to shoot (I'm only 140lbs, the Brno soaked up the recoil nicely). Anyway, long story short I just wanted to share the experience:
