Remington 887?

Handled one at the Sportsmen Show, not that impressed. Very cheaply covered in plastic, built to a lower price point than an 870 Express which says a lot. If this is the kind of gun you want, get a Benelli Nova, much better for this type of shotgun. Don't get me wrong I am an 870 fan but this gun was not impressive in the slightest.

Well that's good to hear. I haven't talked to anyone who has handled one yet.
I noticed the US MSRP was much lower than the 870 Wingmasters. So that kind of scared me a bit. I guess I will get myself ready for the disappointment now.
Maybe I will have to see if there is still any of the 2008 870 XCS Waterfowls still for sale.

You cant compare the price of a Wingmaster to the 887, you need to look at the 870 Express which should be comparable. I like the concept. Never worry about trying to stay ahead of the rain and s**t again.
It's still a metal gun, it's coated in plastic.
