I am looking at a 1955 No.4 Mk2 and I noticed that right under the receiver there are two circles that look like wooden plugs. I was reading the DCRA Conversion thread and I saw that the two plugs were part of the stock being bedded for accuracy. Is this common? Also, the rifle has an aluminum butt plate, I thought all MK2 rifles had brass plates, or did some have alloy plates? The rifle is all matching and is going for $400. After getting my '43 Long Branch, I noticed its pretty lonely and I figured I need to get her a friend (I think my LB feels left out as both our other Enfields are sporters)
