Glock 19's restricted, how scarce are these things??

I know a place that sell them brand new for 700$ shipped. You just have to provide the restricted barrel. You can aquire a restricted barrel from the US for something between 150$ to 180$ shipped. So G19 worth about 900$, no more. I will not name them here cause they are not a contributing dealer. PM me if you want the name.

glock = always cycles
gp6= only cycles when clean and that lasts about 100 rounds then have to clean again
answer dump the fake STI

yes i know them too

I speak to the guy this morning. He said that when he receive their new barrel, the G19 will sell for less then 800$.

My understanding of it is that the G19's can only come into Canada if the longer barrel is installed south of the boarder first and then imported as a restricted. Importing prohibited guns IIRC is a big no-no for any civilian agency or individual.

It is apparently possible to import them with no barrel (receiver only) and add the barrel here. Also given that the price of an import permit recently skyrocketed the retail price at TSE is actually quite reasonable (the days of the $50 import permit are gone)

Not really true. Prohib can enter the contry but can't be sold to civilian. How do you think that Québec police find their G26?

pfft I'm just waiting on my brand new 3rd Gen Glock 19, PROHIB that got approved for transfer this morning. nyah nyah

Sorry, I didn't notice I had put a comma between agency and civilian. It was supposed to be civilian agency. :redface:

LE and MIL can do whatever the hell they want. Different rules for them.

You really have a 12-6 3rd Gen Glock 19 transfered to you?

Gee, i didn't know 3rd gen Glock 19 were made before 1995!

Lucky guy! ;)

it wasn't made before 1995. and yes it's a gen 3, and yes I'll post pics. and yes it's legal. took a bit of wrangling, but it's done. others have done similar with other prohib Glocks. and it's not hard to do. but how to do it is the secret and sorry it's not going to be discussed on here for awhile. It's also not cheap to do.

Well Slavex, let me know how you did it by PM then!

I would really love having a 12-6 Gen 3 19 beside my 12-6 Gen 2 ;)

Don't worry i can keep a secret! :cool:
