Refinishing options for SxS

[Attention]

Hi I have an old SxS shotgun and the barrels are held together with lead.
I was told it was not possible to hot blue.What are my other options.

I doubt it. Usually it is soldered with copper/brass.

Belgian shotguns have their barrels brazed together but English shotguns are soft soldered. More or less as Tiriaq said, their barrels are rust blued
