WARNING!!! Remington 22LR GameLoads

I was shooting some of Remington's 22LR GameLoad ammunition this morning and I had TWO cases break at the base when fired, after firing less than 20 rounds!! These two came out of the same box of ammunition. I HIGHLY recommend that users do NOT shoot this ammunition in a semi-auto firearm!!!!

I can't post pics as my camera isn't working. I will when I get a camera that works!!
 
Hopefully you kept the damaged cases as well as the rest of the box. I would contact Remington and they will likely ask that you send them the "evidence" I had the same thing happen to me one time with winchester xpert, but I didnt think to save the damaged case, which is what they asked for when they returned my email. At the very least you should be due for some free ammo, however would you take the risk to shoot it????
 
For the life of me, I couldn't find an e-mail address on their site to even contact Remington about this. I did show the place that I bought it from (CDN Tire at Southland & Macleod in Calgary), and they'll be contacting the supplier Tuesday morning.

I do have the cases and the rest of the box, but I wouldn't shoot GameLoad ammo even if they sent me more for free. I can see the odd case blowout here and there, but to have 2 blowouts in 20 rounds tells me there's a serious problem with either the load or the case.

I was using a Mossberg 702 Plinkster semi-auto, to answer a poster's question.
